With truss components reaching up to 22 meters in length, the BOILER CANOPY / BOILER ENCLOSURE project is one of the large-scale steel structure projects fabricated by VIS Steel in Vietnam for a U.S. client.
Based on the client's design and technical requirements, VIS Steel fabricated the truss system in Vietnam while maintaining close control over the dimensional accuracy of each structural component throughout the fabrication process.
For a large-scale truss system, fabrication accuracy plays an important role in ensuring proper fit-up and assembly at the project site.
Throughout the manufacturing process, VIS Steel closely controlled the dimensions and fabrication quality of individual structural components in accordance with the project's technical requirements.

Before shipment, VIS Steel conducted an indoor trial assembly at the factory to verify the fit-up and assembly of the structural components.
This step provides an additional level of quality control, helping identify and address potential issues before shipment, particularly for large-scale structures with complex assembly requirements.
Due to the oversized and overweight nature of the structures, transportation required careful preparation.
VIS Steel prepared a custom cargo support frame specifically designed to accommodate the shape and dimensions of the structures prior to export to the United States.
